The Tinubu Mega Group (TMG) has unveiled plans for a large-scale nationwide mobilisation campaign in support of President Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections, describing the effort as a coordinated political movement aimed at consolidating his second-term bid.

The group announced that the mobilisation drive will peak at its national convention scheduled for May 17, 2026, in Abuja, which it described as a defining moment for unifying nationwide support for the President.

In a statement issued in Abuja and signed by its representative, Kennedy Tabuko, TMG said it is coordinating over 1,500 affiliated organisations, including civil society groups, labour unions, professional bodies, and grassroots movements across the country.

According to the group, the initiative represents an “unprecedented national alignment” of supporters and is designed to strengthen political backing for Tinubu’s 2027 re-election ambition.

TMG further revealed plans for a nationwide endorsement campaign, including a target of 20 million signatures to be presented at the Abuja convention as evidence of mass support for the President’s second term.

“This is not just mobilisation, this is a movement. It is the convergence of millions of voices across professions, regions, and social classes,” the statement read.

The group stressed that all activities under the campaign will be conducted peacefully and within democratic principles, while urging Nigerians to participate in what it called a “historic moment of national unity and direction.”

As part of preparations, TMG said it will embark on an intensive media and public engagement strategy aimed at shaping national discourse ahead of the convention. This will include daily appearances on television, radio, and print platforms, alongside a coordinated digital campaign across social media.

The organisation added that influencers and content creators will play a key role in amplifying its message, ensuring that the mobilisation reaches citizens across all regions of the country.

“The countdown will not be business as usual, but a coordinated national build-up to position the convention as a defining moment for Nigeria’s political future,” the group stated.

TMG maintained that its objective is to ensure that “the voice of millions of Nigerians resonates in every corner of the country” as preparations intensify toward 2027.
