The Olowu of Kuta in Ayedire Local Government Area of Osun State, Oba Dr Hammed Adekunle Oyelude Makama Tegbosun III, has congratulated Governor Ademola Adeleke on his victory in the Osun State governorship election. In a message issued from his palace in Kuta, the traditional ruler described the result as a renewed vote of confidence from the people and urged the governor to use his fresh

mandate to unite residents across political and social divides. Oba Oyelude said the election had ended the period of political competition and called on Adeleke to govern as a leader for all, regardless of political affiliation. He urged the governor to translate the promises made during his campaign and victory speech into practical action, saying residents would expect continued improvements in different sectors of the state. The monarch also called for greater attention to rural communities across Osun’s three senatorial districts. He said such areas require improved roads, healthcare services and educational facilities to support development outside major urban centers.

He further appealed to the state government to complete ongoing infrastructure projects and maintain continuity on important initiatives started by previous administrations. On security, the Olowu encouraged stronger cooperation between the state government, federal security agencies, traditional institutions and community-based security groups. He said protecting residents, farmland and businesses would be essential to maintaining stability and creating an environment where economic activities can thrive.

The traditional ruler expressed optimism that a focus on good governance, human capital development, infrastructure and security would help strengthen development across Osun State during Adeleke’s renewed tenure.
