The Indigenous People of Biafra has announced a major restructuring of its leadership framework, including the suspension of the office traditionally occupied by its leader, Nnamdi Kanu, as part of efforts to reorganize the movement’s internal administration.

According to statements from the group, the decision forms part of a broader restructuring aimed at improving coordination, administration, and operational efficiency within IPOB while Kanu remains entangled in legal proceedings.
