Vogue has unveiled exclusive photographs and details from Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodríguez’s intimate wedding ceremony at their home in Cascais, Portugal. According to Vogue, the couple opted for a private living-room ceremony rather than a large celebrity wedding, choosing to mark their 10th anniversary with their children in an intimate setting. Georgina told Vogue that although she once dreamed of a grand wedding, she now preferred a more private celebration with her partner and children.

“When I was a little girl, I dreamt of the biggest castle, the biggest carriage, the longest dress, a crown full of diamonds. And now I’m saying: no. I want something intimate, with my partner and our children, at home,” she said. The couple’s children played a central role in the ceremony, with Georgina telling Vogue they would be “protagonists, as they are in all our days.” The wedding also featured luxury fashion and jewelry. Georgina wore a white silk faille skirt suit with matching satin shoes featuring Gucci’s signature silver horsebit detail. Ronaldo wore a custom light beige cotton suit with matching custom loafers, while the children wore coordinated outfits.

Georgina also planned to complement her engagement ring with a Chopard Garden of Kalahari necklace featuring a 50-carat D-flawless brilliant-cut diamond. Ronaldo and Georgina first met in 2016 at a Gucci store in Madrid, where Georgina was working as a sales assistant. Ronaldo recalled turning around and seeing her for the first

time. “Our eyes met, and from that point on it was…” Ronaldo told Vogue, with Georgina completing the thought: “It was a dream.” The couple have since built a family together, including Cristiano Jr., twins Eva and Mateo, and Alana. In 2022, they welcomed twins Bella and Ángel, although Ángel sadly died short after birth. Vogue reported that the couple, who have more than 750 million Instagram followers combined, still plan to hold a larger celebration with family and friends in the future.
